About the event

Mr Thomas Flynn, Digital Heritage Consultant, The Spatial Heritage Review

This webinar will explore how 3D data representing cultural heritage resources -whether these are movable or immovable assets- can be published and used online for narrative purposes in the Arts and Humanities context. During the webinar we will discuss the concept of storytelling with 3D, the skills needed to create and publish stories, as well as the ways to experience such stories onsite or online. Different types of 3D data will be covered as means to build a story, such as 3D models, 3D reconstructions, collections of 3D objects with richer content and/or as part of ‘larger’ experiences. Lastly, the webinar will touch upon licensing and enabling access to published 3D data to allow individuals and organisations to create and publish their own stories online.
