Matilda Peruzzo

This project develops a computational tool to study how geographical factors shape large scale diffusion of technologies and cultural practices in the ancient world. Building on a completed pilot study, it models spatially varying diffusion speeds using archaeological and environmental datasets. Situated within digital humanities and cultural evolution research, the project aims to expand the tool, incorporate more geographic layers, enhance performance through HPC use, and create a sustainable, community driven web platform.
